I have a 2013 Ford Escape Titanium, and recently, the sensors and alerts that usually beep and flash when a car or person is nearby have stopped working. I actually kind of like the silence, but is it safe to leave it as is? Or should I get it checked out?
Check the sensors on your bumpers. They might be covered in dirt, which can mess with the system.

I did get a ‘BLIS sensor service’ message on the dash, and then it stopped beeping altogether.
@Zahari
Try washing your car. Sometimes that’s all it takes to clear up sensor issues.
Just bought it used about a month and a half ago, so not sure if this was already an issue.
Quick question—how do I start a new thread? I need advice about fitting an ’07 moonroof on an ’09 Escape. I can handle the wiring, but I’m not sure if the tracks and mounting holes will match up.
