2019 Ford Escape - How to change cruise control speed from KMH to MPH?

Does anyone know how to change the cruise control speed display in the top right corner from KMH to MPH?

I’ve tried changing the distance units in the settings, but that only changes the speedometer reading, not the cruise control set speed.

Here’s a Ford guide on changing the unit settings: https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/sync/getting-started-with-sync/how-do-i-change-my-sync-navigation-from-kilometers-to-miles/

  1. Press Settings on your vehicle’s SYNC screen.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Choose your preferred distance units (Miles or Kilometers).

Unfortunately, that only changes the speedometer reading, not the cruise control display.

Try this: Use the left steering wheel controls and go to Settings > Driver Assist > Cruise Control.

Tried that, but there’s no option to change from KMH to MPH in those settings. I’m starting to think I might need to take it to a dealership so they can change it in the system. Doesn’t seem like it can be done from the car’s menus.

Is the whole gauge cluster in KPH? Was the car originally from Canada? If so, then yeah, a dealership would have to reprogram it, or you’d need access to FORScan to change it yourself.
