Very suddenly the screen in our 2023 Ford Escape is stuck off. Is there a button we could have accidentally pressed that turned it off? Turning the car off and on again didn’t solve it.
My 2020 has a button to choose between regular/calm screen/ and off. Check your manual.
Modules can get messed up or locked up and not get the signal to turn on. I’d start by disconnecting the battery and forcing everything to reset. If that doesn’t fix it, then it’s probably dealer time.
@Zion
Disconnecting the battery seems to have done it for now. It’s back working again.
Sync 4 take it in.
Brand new cars come with a warranty for a reason.
There should be a button around there that will turn it back on.
I was having a ton of problems like this on my 23 Escape ST hybrid. It did this to me for a day before I unplugged the battery and that reset it, but it was still being annoyingly erratic. The Apple CarPlay would only work about 1/3rd of the time I’d start the car up. It was giving me the ‘remote features disabled’ alerts probably 12 plus times a week. I took the car in for the first service and asked them to take a look at it. They said they had to reset the battery module but couldn’t find anything else wrong. It’s been pretty good since. CarPlay can still be finicky if I let it connect on wifi so I just use the cord.
