Did a full mevotech supreme front rebuild kit + I priced supreme rear arms and links as well, I gotta say that along with the full KYB struts (gas a just’s in the rear), the car handles phenomenally well and extremely flat and massively surpassed all my expectations for a CD2, coming from a double wishbone CD3 car (Milan), this mariner is definitely nice albeit maybe a smidge too stiff but extremely comfortable nonetheless and very easy to work on.

Looks awesome! Did you run into any surprises or challenges along the way?
Thankfully, no major surprises! The CD2 platform is pretty straightforward mechanically, and being a Florida car, I didn’t have to deal with rust or rot. A few tips: definitely check out YouTube for life hacks—others share great little tips. Also, I’d recommend a high-travel jack for the 08-12 Escapes since they have a lot more rear suspension travel than the front. I also touched up rust-free areas with POR15, especially on rear frame rails and arches that are prone to rust. Front subframe had some rust spots, so I sanded and painted those too. You might spot where if you look close!
What year is your Escape? My daughter’s boyfriend just bought a 2010 with 140k miles. Anything in particular he should keep an eye on? I can help supervise while he does most of the work.
